CBD 101

Industrial Hemp plants contain over 100 cannabinoids. CBD (cannabidiol) is one of the non-intoxicating cannabinoids found in hemp plants, which legally must have less than 0.3 percent of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

What’s the Difference?

Full Spectrum | <0.3% THC
Full Spectrum CBD products are created from hemp through a full plant extraction.
Broad Spectrum | 0% THC
Broad Spectrum CBD products are created by taking Full Spectrum extract and processing it further to remove the trace amounts of THC.
CBD Isolate | 0% THC
CBD Isolate is created by removing all other molecules, except CBD, from the Full Spectrum extract.

Hemp CBD Oil vs Marijuana

Hemp and Marijuana both belong to the Cannabis family, Hemp contains high levels of CBD while marijuana is high in THC (psycho active).
Hemp and marijuana are both made of the same species of cannabis sativa, which contains cannabinoid concentrations, including THC & CBD. Hemp is used for food and fiber, while the marijuana cannabis is grown to enhance the psycho active chemicals.
Cannabis has both male and female plants, when growing marijuana the male plants are removed and only female plants are cultivated. Hemp has onIy 00.3 perfect of THC, it is impossible to get high from hemp.
Marijuana is NOT LEGAL in most states and the hemp alternative is safe and legal in all 50 states and does not contain enough THC to get you high. THC & CBD each play their own role in the overall cannabis experience, compare the THC & CBD ratios of the products, and choose accordingly.

What is Endocannabinoids?

Every(body) has an Endocannabinoids System (ECS), this is a collection of cell receptors and their corresponding molecules in the human body. The ECS is responsible for regulating & maintaining many key functions throughout your body!

The ECS works through CB1 & CB2 found in our body:
CB1: Central Nervous System
&
CB2: Immune Cells, Gastrointestinal Tract, Peripheral Nervous System
Plant Cannabinoids bind with cannabinoid receptors in your body.
CBD effects will vary for each individual depending on height, weight, and the quantity of CBD taken.
Since CBD is non-intoxicating, there is no “high” effect, start with small amounts and gradually increase until you reach desired results.
Industrial Hemp based CBD products are manufactured from hemp plants containing less than 0.3% THC, there are still trace amounts, which may lead to a positive drug test. Speak with your employer or doctor before use of CBD products.
Store products in a dry, cool area with no direct exposure to heat or sunlight.
